Board of director VOLUNTEERS

The association is guided by a board of volunteer members and supported by special committees who help manage and sustain our member offering. We believe this gives the PBNA a unique ability to provide the residents of Palmetto Bluff an avenue for transparency as well as an organized voice in its future development.

Geoff Block

Geoff Block has over 30 years of investment experience in both public and private companies. In 2012, he left Wall Street to manage his family’s investment holdings. Together with his wife, Kim, he formed RLB Squared in 2013, focusing on investments such as hedge funds, real estate, and operating businesses, particularly in the Lowcountry since 2014. They have been active philanthropists, founding Lowcountry Strong to aid Hurricane Matthew victims and establishing Hungry Heart to provide over 30,000 meals to those in need during the pandemic.

In 2015, the Block family relocated from Franklin Lakes, New Jersey, to Bluffton, SC, seeking a better quality of life. Geoff serves on the Board of Directors of the Community Foundation of the Lowcountry and in 2024 joined the Coastal Community Development Corporation to increase housing for the local workforce. He is also involved in the redevelopment of the Sergeant Jasper Golf Club in Ridgeland, SC.

Before founding RLB Squared, Geoff worked at Crown Advisors, co-managing long-only and long-short funds. He graduated from Tulane University in 1994 and remains active in the Tulane community.
